Yeah, yeah - crap name, isn't it? The magazine intends to cover all aspects of dance music and its culture, and features a diverse line-up in its first issue, including Pink, Usher and Dimitri From Paris. The mag also includes a handful of columns written by big-name DJs, including Roger Sanchez.
Sales of all music magazines have faltered of late, with a clutch of major monthlies losing up to nearly 20% of their readerships in the past 12 months. How Klub Kulture will fare is anyone's guess.
Death Row Records' Suge Knight is also planning a magazine, due for launch later this year. The magazine is set to cover "rap, sports and lifestyle". Can't imagine Knight ever played much sport though...
DiScuss: Have you seen Klub Kulture? Is it any good? Is there a market out there for another dance music magazine?
