The pretty pink cover of the promo CD belies the dark nature of Hell Is For Heroes’ strident new single ‘Models For The Programme’.

One has to assume that the lyrical content is dark because it’s so damn hard to hear what front man Justin Schlosberg is wailing about. Something ails him that we can be sure of, indeed, when the opening line is - and this correspondent had to check at least three of four times - ‘Taste of mercury / needles in your eyes’ something is, clearly, up.

What that ‘something’ is one can only guess and perhaps one day HIFH might like to share with us what the chuffing heck this song is about. Musically though, ‘Models...’, taken from forthcoming new album 'Transmit Disrupt', is, as ever, a breathlessly energetic offering from a revitalised Hell Is For Heroes.
