Win! Tickets for Isis' Oceanic London show, plus albums...
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver July 20th, 2006

Californian metal-cum-post-rockers Isis are in the UK right now. If you've half a brain - half a brain that likes being battered silly by skyscraper-sized riffs and the kind of growls that only the Devil himself should be able to muster - then this is old news. This, though, is GOOD news: we've only gone and acquired ourselves a pair of tickets for the quintet's special Koko show, taking place this Sunday.

On the evening of July 23, Isis will perform their 2002 album Oceanic from beginning to end, as part of ATP's Don't Look back series. It just, just might be this writer's gig of the year, and now you, mister or miss, can come too.

One winner, drawn at random tomorrow (tomorrow being July 21), will win a pair of tickets to this one-off event; five runners up will receive a copy of Oceanic itself. I bought my copy, y'know...

To be in with a chance of winning, simply e-mail me...

...with the subject line "Isis competition". No question needs answering for this late-in-the-day competition, but all bribes will be considered. Please also include your address - in case you win a CD - and a contact number so I can CALL YOU tomorrow.

Should you not be lucky, tickets are available for £15 from SeeTickets. The winner will be notified some time tomorrow, whenever I remember I ran a competition the day before.

Good luck!

Isis release a DVD, Clearing The Eye, on August 22. Since you asked.
