Oberst unloads: Bright Eyes offcuts compilation due in October

Bright Eyes - Conor Oberst to his mum - is to release a compilation of hard-to-find and previously unreleased songs in October, reports Pitchfork.

Noise Floor is to be released through Saddle Creek a week before the annual night of trick or treatin' kicks off Stateside(that's the 24th, then), and on October 10th in the UK; tracks featured, recorded between 1999 and 2005, are taken from a variety of sources, such as the Sub Pop Singles Club ('I Will Be Grateful for This Day') and compilations ('Entry Way Song' being an example).

Bright Eyes' next album proper, as yet untitled, is due for an early 2007 release. Noise Floor tracklisting as follows...
