Denver-based rockers of no little excellence Planes Mistaken For Stars - soon to be seen in this country of ours on something the kids are calling 'a tour' - have finished work on their third album proper.
Mercy, the follow-up to 2004's Up In Them Guts, is to be released through Abacus on October 3rd; it was recorded with Matt Bayles (Isis, Blood Brothers) in Seattle. One cut from the long-player, 'Crooked Mile', can be heard at the band's MySpace page, here. It sounds goooood, yo.
