The Streets's Mike Skinner has made the longest music video ever for MTV's 25th birthday this year.
Skinner used the 20-minute video as inspiration for a new song; the raw visuals were provided by MTV viewers and young filmmakers. The video - which eclipses the previous record for the longest music video, held by Michael Jackson's 13-minute 'Thriller' promo - will air on August 1.
Skinner said:
"I have been blown away by the creativity and imaginations of the young people involved and we have watched hours of videos in order to find the most interesting and intriguing content for this epic work."
