One for Londoners, this...
The DiS office was rocking yesterday to the sound of Headland's last single, 'Monster In A Shirt'. It came out in July - in case you missed it, it's good - and its download-only follow-up, 'Bible, Torah & Koran' is out on September 4 through Touchy Feely Records.
As way of celebration, kinda, the five-piece perform at The Luminaire in Kilburn this Thursday, August 24. We've a pair of tickets to give away to the gig, their second 'Choc Ice' night - punters get a choc ice each, and the first few in will pick up a copy of the new single. Which is nice. More information at their MySpace page, here.
So, wanna go? Just answer this silly question:
What's the name of the protruding rocks just off the headland at Alum Bay, on the Isle of Wight (and also the name of a pop-rockin' four-piece from Glasgow)?
A) The Needles?
B) The Nodules??
C) Large chips, a battered sausage and a pickled egg, please?
