Portishead are currently streaming two brand-new tracks on their MySpace page.
The site - here - currently features 'Greek Jam' and 'Key Bored 299 03'. It's the first new material to be made available by the band since 1997's eponymous second LP.
DiS's verdict: well, they're not exactly songs, as such. 'Greek Jam', certainly, is a half-formed idea at best, an industrial-sounding couple of buzzing minutes bereft of any real beats. ‘Key Bored 299 03’ is a little more complex, but still sounds like a sketch of what's to come. It's slightly reminiscent of The Album Leaf. Neither piece features vocals as yet.
Member Geoff Barrow has already told fans that the as-yet-untitled third LP is a way off yet - click here to read what he had to say back in June.
