Following this article of last week, reporting that Sir Elton John wishes to make a hip-hop record, rapper 50 Cent has confirmed that he would like to work with the Oscar-winning 'Candle In The Wind' musician.
Sir Elton's no stranger to performing with rappers, of course - he duetted with Eminem at the 2001 Grammy Awards. Fiddy has said that he and Elton were meant to collaborate years ago, but it never happened.
"Elton has incredible talent," said Fiddy. "He was meant to come out and record some stuff with me but it didn't happen."
A fan of Elton's work, Fiddy - real name Curtis Jackson - could well get his wish before long if Elton's hip-hop idea takes off.
