Pop-rap sensation Lily Allen is to begin her effort to crack the States with a digital EP release, Smile. The title track, quite obviously, is the same song that went straight to the top of the UK singles chart not so long ago.
The EP will be available Stateside on September 26, and will feature 'Cheryl Tweedy' and 'Absolutely Nothing' alongside the explicit version of 'Smile'; the over-there release date for Alright, Still has been set as January 30.
Lily Allen performs at Bestival on the Isle Of Wight this weekend (DiS's preview here). She releases her next single, 'LDN', on September 25.
DiScuss: Will Lily find success in the US where so many other Brits have failed? Will Americans have any idea who Cheryl Tweedy is?
