Happy Times! Arcade Fire and Interpol offer new songs to Six Feet Under
disnews by DiS News May 16th, 2005
Fun lovin' indie poppers The Arcade Fire and Interpol are to donate exclusive tracks to the new Six Feet Under OST.

Death-obsessed Arcade Fire do 'Cold Wind', while the morbidly-inclined Interpol offer up 'Direction'. Other bands featured are Death Cab for Cutie, Radiohead and Pheonix.

The CD will be released via Astralwerks in the States on June 21st and hopefully around the same time in the UK. The show, which begins its fifth and final season on June 6 is probably the greatest TV show ever in the history of the word. Objectively speaking.

DiS will cry when the series ends. And then will sit in a dark room surrounded by pictures of Claire Fischer.

Ahem. That full track-listing is:

Six Feet Under: Everything Ends, Music from the HBO Original Series - Vol. 2

01 Nina Simone - 'Feelin' Good'
02 Jem - 'Amazing Life'
03 Phoenix - 'Everything Is Everything'
04 Coldplay - 'A Rush of Blood to the Head'
05 Sia - 'Breathe Me'
06 Radiohead - 'Lucky'
07 Irma Thomas - 'Time is on My Side'
08 Bebel Gilberto - 'Aganjœ (The Latin Project Remix Edit)'
09 Interpol - 'Direction'
10 The Caesars - '(Don't Fear) The Reaper'
11 Death Cab for Cutie - 'Transatlanticism'
12 The Arcade Fire - 'Cold Wind'
