Jersey Live 2005: Kasabian, The Bravery, Art Brut...
disnews by DiS News August 15th, 2005
The second Jersey Live Festival takes place on September 3rd 2005 at the Royal Jersey Showground, Trinity. Acts on the bill include Art Brut, The Futureheads, The Bravery and headliners Kasabian.

The all-day event runs from 11 'til 11, and bands are spread across two stages. Full line up, as we know it:

POSITIV MAIN STAGE
KASABIAN
THE BRAVERY
THE FUTUREHEADS
THE ORDINARY BOYS
ART BRUT (pictured)
THE BLACK VELVETS
+ LOCAL SUPPORT ACTS

THEORY DANCE ARENA
2 MANY DJS
WHITEY (LIVE)
THE GLIMMERS
THE MIXOLOGISTS

Last year's event featured The Thrills, Razorlight and The Subways. The festival capacity is, as you'd expect for such an intimate setting, quite small - only 7,500 paying punters will be allowed through the gates. Many off-shore visitors are expected this year, from both Britain and France.

Festival tickets are £28.50 from the official site, JerseyLive. A number of travel deals are available from as little as £99 (ferries departing from Weymouth and Poole). Package deals are available from Sundecker Holidays, click here. Check the festival website for further details and travel/holiday deals.
