Bright Eyes: quite ill
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver August 14th, 2007
and Gary Wolstenholme

Bright Eyes will not be playing their scheduled UK shows this week following lynchpin Conor Oberst's contraction of some sort of bug. Like, I dunno, the shits or something. With those white threads: bad news.

The affected dates are:

August
15 Bristol
16 Liverpool
17 Nottingham
18 + 19 V Festival

Says the band's label:

Illness has forced the cancellation. Bright Eyes would like to express their utmost thanks to all their fans and supporters and sincerely apologise for this unfortunate occurrence.

Is there a band called The Shits? There should be.
