DiS presents: Saul Williams and more, November 7
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver October 18th, 2007

Good news, fans of good shows: DiS and Tours, Bombs etc are pleased to co-present a quite, quite super show next month: Saul Williams and more at the pleasant basement known to locals as Barden’s Boudoir, London.

November 7 is the date for your diary; six pounds the on-the-door tax. Williams – whose self-titled LP of 2004 rated highly on Our 66, which ran this time last year – will be performing a spoken-word set a la that Youthmovies collaboration of Leeds 2005. Will he be backed by a band this time? Time, only, will tell, but there’s ‘proper’ band support on the day, from:

This Town Needs Guns (MySpace)
Cats And Cats And Cats (MySpace)
Banjo Or Freakout (MySpace)

That picture right there, that’s a flyer. Neat. It doesn’t get you any money off the entrance fee or anything, but does feature all the necessary details in jpeg form. And it’s bigger than your usual in-a-news-piece piece. Yes.

You can add this date to your gig calendar / buy advance tickets here.

In related DiS gig news, our free-entry DiScover Christmas Party is coming together quite nicely – click here for the latest line-up for the December 15 show, held as always at London’s Notting Hill Arts Club.
