These New Puritans, Archie Bronson Outfit and more for Nail The Cross
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver August 12th, 2008

These New Puritans (pictured) and Archie Bronson Outfit are among the DiS-approved acts playing the first-ever Nail The Cross one-dayer next month.

Expect to hear new material from the Archies, and to also catch some of the following confirmed live acts on September 27, from 3pm 'til 5am:

Afrikan Boy, Micachu and the Shapes, Banjo or Freakout, Clinic, Ox. Eagle. Lion. Man., S.C.U.M, The xx, Jay Jay Pistolet, Navvy, Your Twentys, Gentle Friendly, A Grave with No Name, Tin Can Telephone, and more TBC

DJs appearing include Benga, Matty White Heat, Vitamin Club and Skull Juice. Are these people just made up? No, they're not. As you'll see for yourself at the multi-venue New Cross, London do - venues include the Amersham Arms, Goldsmiths Union and the New Cross Inn.

Tickets for the event - organised by Domino Records, Adventures In The Beetroot Field and No Pain In Pop - are £15 from here. Official festival site with full bill and venue details here.
