Organised by the marvellous Jackie Smith and boasting a roll of honour which includes Miss Black America and Blue Gandhi as well as The Dawn Parade's former incarnation The Hip Down, the competition has three heats, with the final taking place on Saturday November 30th.
The band contest is held in Bury St Edmunds Corn Exchange. Doors open at 7:30pm and tickets are £5.50 on the door or £4.50 in advance in person before 4pm on the day. Tickets sell out fast so advance booking is recommended. For more information check out www.stedmundsbury.gov.org/ldu.htm.
