Seymour is bedridden with flu which has been going around the band, forcing them to cancel several recent rockshows, including tonight and tomorrows.
In a statement to the world, he proclaimed: "we've decided to cancel tonight's gig at Winchester Railway and tomorrow's at Liverpool Uni, mainly to save my voice, and also 'cause we'd rather not play at all than play an energy-free shit gig, where I can't sing, and then die. I'm particularly sorry 'cause Winchester's sold out; obviously, all tickets will be refunded, and we'll reschedule both for as soon as we can."
However, their ONE LIVE, radio 1-related high jinx is still going ahead. They played with the recently dropped but still ace Six By Seven and newbies Bearsuit at Nottingham Boat Club this Thursday, 31st October. YOu can hear the gig, live, on John Peel Show between 10 pm and midnight GMT. This show is sold out.
