Linkin Park have settled their differences with label Warners, and have received a little treat to boot: the nu-metal oiks will get a whopping $15m advance for their next record.
Back in May the band, who feature Mr Joe Hahn on decks (pictured with some boobs), demanded to be released by Warners, for some financial reason or other. They also claimed that their label, to whom they were signed for a further four albums, was not marketing their releases effectively. What?
Rumours abound that the band were hanging on for an advance of nearer $60m, but that can't be confirmed. A spokesman for the band simply said: "We would like to thank Linkin Park fans worldwide for their continued support."
