Jetplane Landing play shelter gig
tappleby by Tessa Appleby December 7th, 2002
Jetplane Landing are set to play a benefit gig for a charity for the homeless.

DiS faves Jetplane Landing will seal the envelope on an amazing year with a very special Christmas show at The Bull & Gate, Kentish Town, London on Thursday December 19th.

All proceeds from the show will go to Shelter, a national organisation working to improve the lives of homeless and badly housed people; through their network of Housing Aid Centres, projects and surgeries, Shelter staff provide free, professional and independent advice to over 100,000 homeless and badly housed people each year, working to develop solutions and influence decision makers and public opinion to improve lives. Every penny makes a real difference, especially at this time of year. For more information check out the Shelter website.

Confirmed support on the night will come from The Wow and Smother.

150 tickets will go on sale at the door on the night. Tickets £6, Guest List £10. Doors @ 7:30pm, first band on at 8:00pm.

An exclusive hand-numbered, limited edition compilation CD featuring a track from each of the bands appearing on the bill will be on sale on the night, which promises to be an unforgettable evening for a very worthwhile cause.
