Word on the 'street', a.k.a. the internet, is that the Smashing Pumpkins are to return to stage-slaying ways this summer, headlining the Chicago leg of the travelling Lollapalooza festival.
The four-piece, who hail from Chicago, couldn't ask for a better way to make a comeback: high-profile event, in their hometown, eyes and ears of the world all pointing their way. But, of course, at the moment this is purely speculation - an official line up for the Chicago leg will be revealed in a few weeks.
Should you want to take a chance, the festival rolls into the Illinois city's Hutchinson Field on August 4th and stays 'til the 6th.
