A security guard watching over rapper Busta Rhymes was fatally shot on Saturday night, while the star was making a new music video.
Around 500 extras and a number of fellow musicians had gathered for the shoot in Brooklyn when a gunman opened fire on them around 1.30am, outside the Greenpoint warehouse where the filming was taking place. 29-year-old Israel Ramirez, a long-term employee of Rhymes', was hit once in the chest and subsequently died.
Nobody else - including gathered cameo stars Mary J Blige, 50 Cent, Missy Elliott and Lloyd Banks - was hurt in the incident. As yet, police have made no arrests.
