The management team at London's Somerset House (pictured) have warned that online adverts for a series of gigs in the summer are false.
Bogus tickets are on sale for summertime performances by Radiohead, Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys and KT Tunstall. The venue's management responded thus:
"The official announcement of the live programme at Somerset House this summer will be made in early May 2006. We have contacted Westminster Trading Standards to investigate this hoax."Radiohead fans were urged not to fall for the hoax, too, a spokesman for the band adding: "Fans should not respond to online advertisements for this concert. Radiohead's performance schedule for 2006 can be found on www.radiohead.com."
