Really-rather-dead Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain, who choked on a bullet back in 1994, has been voted the greatest rock and roll hero of all time by readers of NME.
The results of the magazine's poll to determine its readers' idols are published in this week's issue, on sale from that corner shop right about... now. Stars that made the top 50 list include David Bowie, Morrissey, Liam Gallagher and, of course, Our Pete.
