Mondo Generator Play the UK
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver December 2nd, 2003
Nick Oliveri's Mondo Generator tour the UK later this month. The Queens of the Stone Age bassist and friends play the following dates:

DECEMBER 2003

15th LONDON Mean Fiddler
16th WOLVERHAMPTON Wulfren Hall
17th GLASGOW Garage 2
18th MANCHESTER Academy 2 (the MDH)

Mondo Generator were formed in 1997, before QOTSA were even a twinkle in Josh Homme's eye. Their current (second) album, 'A Drug Problem That Never Existed', is out now on Mike Patton's Ipecac label. The band includes, alongside Oliveri, drummer Brant Bjork (Kyuss, Fu Manchu, the Operators), guitarist Dave Catching (QOTSA, earthlings?, Texorcist) and Molly Maguire (earthlings?, Yellow #5).
