Nottingham DiS: June brings World Cup fever and the best bill in town!

Rooney, Rooney, where art thou Rooney?
Well, if that old metatarsal bone doesn't sort itself out in time for next weekend, you could always head to Nottingham for the next Drowned In Sound shabang, cos boy have we got a line-up in store for you.

This month, doing their thing as DiS makes its debut at The Social are:

The usual Drowned-In-Soundsystem DJs (Dom & Jordan) and Dan McAvoy will be spinning discs of pleasure between the bands, while beforehand The Social will be screening full coverage of England's first Group B match against Paraguay from 2pm.

Date: Saturday 10th June.
Venue: The Social, Pelham Street, Nottingham.
Doors: 7pm til 11.30pm (1st band on 7.30pm).
Admission: £3 advance tickets, £4 NUS/flier, £5 door.
