Having cancelled last night's Sheffield show, Funeral For a Friend have been forced to pull out of tonight's headline appearance at Liverpool University.

It was hoped that flu-stricken Matt Davies would have recovered enough to rejoin The Rapture, The Von Bondies and Franz Ferdinand on the NME Tour, but he's been ordered to spend another night in bed. As yet, the band will still be performing in Manchester tomorrow, but watch this space.

As a small consolation, the rest of the band will be at Liverpool tonight to meet and greet fans, and they promise to re-schedule a show there in the near future.

Disappointed fans can get a refund at their point of purchase, but as with yesterday, once you're in the venue there's no turning back!
