Recently axed BBC pop show Top Of The Pops is to live on, albeit in its magazine format.
The Beeb has announced that the magazine - currently shifting around 95,000 copies every two weeks - is to remain on newsagent shelves, even though its parent show has been taken from the airwaves. Top Of The Pops magazine is the leader in its field, although since the demise of Smash Hits perhaps that's to be expected.
The BBC has also stated that TOTP2, the show's archive programme, is to continue. When and how regularly, we don't know.
