Blood Brothers switch labels
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver July 16th, 2004
Seattle-based art-punks The Blood Brothers have switched from ArtistDirect to V2.

The band's next album, 'Crimes', is due for release at the end of September. When I spoke to vocalist Jordan at the band's recent London show, he said that the band had hoped to resolve their difficulties with ArtistDirect, and that the label would be involved - in one way or another - in their next release. Guess not...

Then again, both ArtistDirect and V2 are part of the BMG group, so it's not like they've moved far. 'The Man' is still very much involved.

DiScuss: Do you think 'Crimes' can match/better last year's DiS fave 'Burn, Piano Island, Burn'?
