Biffy Clyro London gig + new single details
Biffy Clyro London gig + new single details
shadyadie by [redacted] April 4th, 2003
The mighty BiFFY CLYRO will be heading back to London to play a very special low-key warmup for their Kerrang! weekend show.

Us generous DiS people have arranged for the band to play an early evening set at The Windmill, which is a very small venue/pub indeed in south London with a normal capacity of around 120. It’s on Sat 12th April.

Support comes from Fierce Panda signings Le Neon. Door tax is a measly £3. Doors are 5:30pm with Le Neon on at 6:30pm, and Biffy Clyro onstage at 7:30pm. Get there early to ensure you get in.

The Windmill, 22 Blenheim Gardens (off Brixton Hill), London, SW2. The nearest tube is Brixton and it's about 7 minutes walk from there. Last tubes north are 0027 (Mon-Sat) and 2351 (Sun). A load of busses run up the hill (mostly from the bus stop outside Woolworths and KFC after you've turned LEFT out of the tube station). Blenheim Gardens is the THIRD STOP from Brixton and the following buses will transport you there in approx 2-3 mins: 45, 59, 109, 118, 159, 250 and (we think) 333.

Biffy release new single ‘Questions And Answers’ on May 19th, on two CDs and a 7” with exclusive tracks on each. The album ‘Vertigo Of Bliss’ follows on June 16th.

In other "look, aren't we great?" details, previous DiS guests at The Windmill (our regular little haunt south of the river) have included Mclusky, Jetplane Landing, Plans & Apologies, Seachange, Engerica, Redjetson, Fonda 500, and a whole host of other bands twice a month every month since June 2002. And the next 'all-dayer' there takes place on Apr 18th, details here
