Be Your Own Pet - London beckons for the 'hottest band in the world'
disnews by DiS News March 22nd, 2005
The post-SXSW invasion begins...

The biggest A&R scrum of the Austin, Texas festival saw every British record man plus a bunch of our American friends run around town to catch three shows by Nashville rockers Be Your Own Pet. And hot on the tails of some big music press exposure, the band are popping over here for a short run of gigs this week in London town.

See what tomorrow's excitement is about by catching the band here:

23rd March Rendition @ parker place
24th March Birthday Party @ Infinity

Don't say we don't tell you about these things...

...and yes, we did see them at the festival, but our thoughts seem to be largely irrelevant on this one... our full review of SxSw coming real soon.

You can probably hear them on their website and somewhere amongst all the BBC coverage bbc.co.uk/music/southbysouthwest
