Gonzales brings his piano talk show to London
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater October 7th, 2009

Canadian Piano-player extraordinaire Gonzales is all set to hit London next month with his piano talk show slash cabaret. You may remember that he was involved in a piano duel, of sorts, with Andrew W.K. We reported that here. You should read about it there because I'm not going to repeat myself.

The shows takes place every Wednesday in November (no idea of the relevance of this, no...) at the Pigalle Club in London. I went there once and I can tell you it is very swanky, at least for people like us.

Here's when he'll be gracing us with his pianist-presence. The first night features Mr Jarvis Cocker as a guest, but the other dates have their VERY SPECIAL GUESTS yet to be confirmed.

04 - London, The Pigalle with Jarvis Cocker
11 - London, The Pigalle
18 - London, The Pigalle
25 - London, The Pigalle

All of the shows are priced at a very reasonable £10, and they are available from SeeTickets. Hear Gonzales speak about and explain the whole deal (to) himself below:

Gonzales also has two new releases out at the moment, a 7" piano remake of Erol Alkan and Boys Noize's 'Waves', as well as his four-album RECORD BREAKING set The Works. Crackin'.
