Rikki and Daz, who you could describe as The New Cuban Boys (considering this is the band Rikki came from), have moved the release of their single to go head-to-head with Will Young.
The really quite ace 'Rhinestone Cowboy (Giddy Up Giddy Up)' is now to be released on Nov 18th via Serious/Mercury Records. "We are aware that Will's is a charity release," they say, "therefore we are offering to make a donation to Children In Need for every punter who takes an unwanted Will Young CD back to the store and exchanges it for Rhinestone Cowboy (Giddy Up Giddy Up). Pop Idol is dead, long live scumpop."
