Belle & Sebastian get the Horn
shadyadie by [redacted] February 28th, 2003
Like, what? In a move which is either utter genius or complete madness, Belle & Sebastian have drafted in Trevor Horn to produce their new album.

The man made his mark in the ‘80s when he produced the hugely successful ‘Welcome To The Pleasuredome’ album by Frankie Goes To Hollywood. He was also responsible for ABC’s ‘The Lexicon Of Love’. And let’s not forget his own project, Buggles and ‘Video Killed The Radio Star’ and oooooh, he’s just the pop producer GOD, isn’t he?.

Most recently, Horn produced ‘All The Things She Said’ by Tatu.

He will produce the whole of Belle & Sebastian’s new album, which will be released on their new label, Rough Trade (home of The Strokes et al).
