Bad news for anyone hoping to catch The Evens at one of tonight's duo of shows at Bristol Cube Cinema. The message from promoters Local Kid reads thus:
"Unfortunately one of the band caught food poisoning yesterday is too sick to travel. Please know that the decision to cancel was not made easily, and up until 3pm this afternoon we were still hopeful that the show would go ahead.
The Evens, Local Kid and The Cube are all really sorry to everyone who was looking forward to the show. Especially to those who have travelled to Bristol for the gig. Believe us, we are as disappointed as anyone.
We hope you understand. obviously tickets can be refunded from where you got them. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us."
No word on the London show yet, but if it also falls victim to some badly-cooked chicken, DiS will let you know.
