Fuck me this is good!

Visionstate - Ricky Skinner (vocals/guitar), Rob Alderman (guitar), Adam Dickens (bass) & Rob Willoughby (drums) – hail from Nowheresville UK (well, alright Newport Pagnell actually) and make the sort of strident, urgent music which makes one feel good to be alive. Yes, really.

This demo – which is one of the best I’ve heard in months - makes even the most mundane of tasks seem like the most rock ‘n’ roll thing to do; ironing to ‘Rush’ becomes extreme ironing; ‘Won’t Let Go’ will transform vacuum cleaning into an Olympic sport. As for the frankly fantastic ‘Make Your Mind Up’, well, what can I say? Let’s put it this way I played the rip snorting, thrill seeking, closing track, nay choon, with it’s Lydon-esque sneer FIVE FUCKING TIMES on the way home from work last Friday night and nearly crashed the goddamn car. Seriously.
